Frog – Mr. Frog lives in my kitchen. Despite his limited ability to convey emotion, he models well.

• I take pix with my phone and post them to Facebook.  Only a few are on this website. Perhaps I should find a better way to host them online. Besides frogs, I also do art and people and landscapes.

• On the technical side, shown below is an effective and inexpensive set-up for scanning printed books into electronic format for copy editing and re-publishing. The camera is a older model Canon point-and-shoot. Yet with third-party software, you can do things that would normally require a much more expensive camera – such as controlling the camera with a mouse, and using a monitor as a giant viewfinder.
